Tomas Walat Site Editor [email protected]

Tom Walat is the site editor for SearchWindowsServer. He edits tips and other content, and writes articles. Before joining TechTarget in January 2012, Tom worked for many years as a reporter, columnist, news editor, online editor and editorial systems manager at a Boston-area newspaper. Tom has won several awards for his work on print and online publications, including first place from the New England Press Association for a website he designed and produced to highlight the impact of OxyContin and heroin use on the South Shore. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northeastern University.

Margaret Jones Executive Editor [email protected]

Maggie is executive editor of TechTarget's IT Infrastructure and Strategy media group. Previously at TechTarget, she covered mobile computing, virtual desktop infrastructure, solid-state storage, cloud computing and hyper-converged infrastructure. Maggie graduated from Assumption College in 2011 where she studied English literature and philosophy.

Kristin Knapp Editorial Director [email protected]

Kristin Knapp is editorial director for TechTarget's Cloud/DevOps group, which covers cloud computing, IT operations and app development topics. Previously, she was executive editor in TechTarget's IT Infrastructure and Strategy group. Prior to joining TechTarget in 2014, Knapp was a senior editor at CRN, where she covered the networking and infrastructure market. Knapp graduated from Saint Michael's College in 2008 with a B.A. in English.

Nick Martin Senior Director of Content Strategy and Member Engagement [email protected]

Nick Martin is senior director of content strategy and member engagement at TechTarget. He has held various editorial roles since joining TechTarget in 2011, including editorial director, executive editor for Modern Infrastructure e-zine and site editor for SearchServerVirtualization. Martin graduated from Saint Michael's College in 2008 with a B.A. in journalism and mass communication.
